Wilpattu trip organisation

We organize Wilpattu safari trips from Dune Towers based on your preference. You can choose from following options:

  • Sleeping near park gate

We take you from Dune Towers to the house of our guide near the park entrance gate. You will be served a dinner. Next morning after breakfast you will enter the park around 6 a.m.  with our guide in his jeep. He will do his best to show as much animals as possible. As he is visiting the park daily there is very high chance for your best experience.  You will finish the safari before lunch and eat again in the house of our safari guide. 

This option costs:  240 USD for couple

  • Day trip

 This option means that you go for afternoon safari or you have to wake up before 3 a.m.. We take you to the park entrance gate. Here we meet your guide who will show the animals with his 4WD vehicle, after safari we take you back to Dune Towers. This option is little less comfortable but it might be an option for those on tight budget. 

  • Full-day with sleeping near park gate

This option is best for the biggest nature enthusiasts. It is the same the first option, only you will spend full day within the park. 

  • Wilpattu and Anuradhapura+Mihintale in ONE

From Dune Towers you can do a combined trip. After finishing safari, we take you to nearby ancient city of Anuradhapura full of famous dagoba and the oldest tree in the world, and aslo you will visit Mihintale rock where Buddhism started in Sri Lanka. You will arrive for late dinner back in resort.
